Hednesford Town FC are thrilled to announce the signing of cultured defender Chris Hussey from Stratford Town, Subject to League and FA Clearance.
Chris, 36, is a versatile left-sided defender who can play across the backline, bringing a wealth of leadership, experience, and quality to the Pitmen squad.
He began his career at AFC Wimbledon before earning a move to Coventry City, where he made an instant impact. Chris’s impressive CV includes spells at clubs such as Bury, Swindon Town, Cheltenham Town, Port Vale, Sheffield United, and Walsall, with several promotion medals highlighting his career.
Known for his ability to score goals and provide assists from defence, Chris has earned numerous accolades, including Player of the Year, Player of the Month, and multiple Team of the Year honours. His arrival at Hednesford Town represents a significant coup, with the club securing one of the most sought-after players on the non-league scene.
