Hednesford Women picked up their first win of the season on Sunday, at home to Coventry Sphinx with a comfortable 4-0 scoreline.
Despite a penalty miss, the Women went into the break leading 1-0, thanks to Parnell, who took her chance as the first period came to an end.
The second-half proved to be dominant for the home side as three goals from Rogers, Farley and Sinclair cemented the impressive performance.
Hednesford sit 3rd in the league after two games played and are looking to leapfrog this weeks opponents in the table with a win on Sunday.
THE OPPOSITION
Solihull Moors Foundation Women sit joint top of the only after an unbeaten first two games of the season.
A 2-3 win over Coundon Court Ladies on matchday one then last week saw a 3-1 victory over Stourbridge Women after first-half goals from Redmond-Lyon and Cheneler both within two minutes of eachother. Then in the 83rd minute Bubb stopped any chance of a comeback from the away side

Last season saw an opening day draw between the sides left an entertaining 2-2 scoreline.
The reverse fixture saw an away win for Hednesford as Sinclair and Wright scored to secure a 0-2 result.
