THE PITMEN
Following last week’s disappointing FA Cup exit at the hands of Coventry United, Hednesford will be hoping to bounce back when they return to National League North action, looking to add to the nine points which see them in 19th place in the league table.
One plus point last weekend was the return of Jay Fitzmartin who came back into the squad after injury and with the absence of Xander Parke and Omari Sterling-James due to International call ups for St Kitts and Nevis and also Lenni Cirino for Montserrat, his return couldn’t have come a better time.
Sonny Sharples will be available after his ban but Dale Gorman will sit the game out as he finishes his three match suspension. Joel Taylor has returned to light training.
Ahead of the game Manager Kelvin Davis said “It will be another competitive National League North game and one where we need to show the togetherness, energy and determination that we have shown in many of our performances this season.”
THE OPPOSITION
Radcliffe also exited this season’s FA Cup at the first hurdle when they lost 2-3 at league rivals Marine.
Their league form has seen them secure just two victories, both at home with two defeats while their away record comprises five defeats, 1-2 at Macclesfield, 0-3 at Hereford, 0-2 at Marine and 0-3 at Oxford City.
This set of results sees them in 22nd place with six points.
The club’s poor start to the season saw the resignation of Bernard Morley as Manager in August along with his assistant Steve Halford and coach Luke Clark.
The interim management team consists of coach Nicky Adams, goalkeeping coach Paul Oakes, Stephen O’Halloran and former Pitmen boss Frank Sinclair who is currently Academy Head of Coaching.
Sinclair was in charge of Hednesford for 20 games in 2015/16 with a win percentage of 15%.

Radcliffe’s only other visit to Keys Park was in 2006/07 in the Northern Premier League when the two sides played out a goal-less draw in front of 448 spectators.

Admission prices for league games this season at Keys Park are as follows:
Seating: £18 adults, £15 concessions, £8 13-17 years old, £5 under 13s.
Standing: £15 adults, £12 concessions, £5 13-17 years old, £3 under 13s.
All juniors aged 15 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Tickets can be bought in advance on-line through the Fanbase app or at the ticket office on the day of the game.
Turnstiles, ticket office and the Chase Suite open at 1pm.
The Club shop opens at 1pm until 2.55pm.
The game is being broadcast live on DAZN.
Smoking and vaping is only allowed in the Fanzones behind the Hednesford End and Heath Hayes End. As this is not a designated game, all Boltbars will be open.
