Hednesford Town Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Will Murdock, who joins on loan from Manchester United.
The 19-year-old arrives at Keys Park from the Premier League giants, adding further quality and competition to the club’s goalkeeping department.
The highly-rated goalkeeper has come through United’s academy system and now makes the move to Hednesford as he continues his development and gains valuable experience in senior football.
At just 19 years of age, Murdock represents Northern Ireland at international level and everyone at the club is looking forward to seeing him in our club’s colours.
Upon signing for the club, Will said:
“I’m really excited to be here, I feel like this is the right club to grow as a person and as a player as well so I’m looking forward to it.
“I think the club is really ambitious after back to back promotions.
“I’ve been at United for 10 years now, I’ve most recently been playing for the under-21s and trained with the first team every now and again.”
Welcome to Hednesford Town, Will!
