Tuesday 27th October, Kick Off 7.45pm

THE PITMEN

Hednesford’s 2-0 win over Spalding last Saturday was their fourth on the run, the first time they had achieved the feat in the league since April when they beat Prescot Cables, FC United, Morpeth and Cleethorpes.

Ahkeem Rose’s goal was his fourth of the season and moved him level with Jamie Cooke while Will Merry’s first goal for the club saw him become the 12th Pitman to find the net in 2026/27.

The win moved The Pitmen up to sixth place with 21 points from 13 games moving them closer to Oxford City, Macclesfield and Kings Lynn who all dropped points.

Saturday also saw the return of George Langston, Omari Sterling-James and Lenni Cirino to the squad and after the game Manager Kelvin Davis said he was pleased with the result and the mentality of the group.

THE OPPOSITION
