Chester sit in fifth place in the league table with 23 points from 13 games. On the road they have collected eight of those points from two wins, two draws and two defeats while at home they have picked 15.
The Seals have beaten five teams at the Deva, Kings Lynn 2-0, Spalding 1-0, Worksop 4-1, Bedford 1-0 and last Tuesday Marine 2-1 and lost twice both 0-1 against Morecambe and Merthyr. Their leading scorer is Billy Waters who has six league goals and one in the FA Cup.
Dom McHale joined Chester from Hednesford in the close season and after being injured in pre-season made his debut from the bench in the 4-1 win over Worksop.
A further three substitute appearances followed before starts against Hyde in the Cheshire Senior Cup and against Marine in the league.
A familiar face in the Chester squad for longer term Pitmen supporters is Tom Peers who in two spells with the club in 2014/15 and 2015/16 made 18 starts plus 12 as sub scoring five goals.
