About the Role
Hednesford Town Football Club is seeking a Media & Communications Manager to lead the club’s media output and support its continued growth on and off the pitch.
This is a key, hands-on role responsible for delivering high-quality communications, managing media relations, and supporting marketing and commercial activity across the club. The successful candidate will play an important role in shaping how the club is presented, engaging supporters, and supporting key revenue streams including ticketing, memberships and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the club’s communications, media and digital output
- Produce content including match reports, features, interviews and press releases
- Manage social media and digital platforms
- Support marketing campaigns linked to commercial and community activities
- Deliver matchday coverage across first-team fixtures (home and away)
- Attend women’s home fixtures (played at Keys Park)
- Support coverage of development team fixtures where required
- Build relationships with media, stakeholders and internal departments
About You
- Experience in sports communications, media, PR or marketing
- Strong writing skills across multiple formats
- Confident managing social media in a live environment
- Organised, proactive and able to work under pressure
- A strong understanding of football and the matchday environment
- A genuine all-rounder across media, content and communications
