Hylton adds flair to the Pitmen attack

Known for his sharp footwork, direct running and ability to take on defenders, Jermaine Hylton brings a new dimension to the Pitmen attack. A technically gifted wide forward, he thrives on creating chances from the wings and unlocking defences with his dribbling and quick movement.

Having previously played alongside Assistant Manager Lee Vaughan, Jermaine was impressed by the direction the club is heading and was eager to be part of the journey.

“I’ve heard a lot about the progress being made here, and after meeting the team and seeing the set-up, everything looked positive and ambitious,” said Jermaine. “I’m a wide forward who likes to dribble and create from the wings. Hopefully I can bring a bit of excitement and experience to the squad.”

Jermaine’s career includes spells with Swindon Town and Newport County in the EFL, alongside time at Solihull Moors, Motherwell, Ross County, Arbroath, and Lithuanian top-flight side FK Kauno Žalgiris – showcasing his talent across English, Scottish and European football.

Manager Gavin Hurren said: “Jermaine is an exciting addition to the squad. He’s quick, skilful and gives us something different in the final third. He’s got that natural ability to make things happen and a calmness in possession that will help us turn chances into goals.”

Welcome to Keys Park, Jermaine.
