THE HOME SIDE
Following Saturday’s impressive 5-1 win at Guiseley, Hednesford moved back up to fourth place in the table with 24 points from 14 games from seven wins, three draws and four defeats. The only home defeat came on 28th October when Stockton won 2-1. Midfielder Max Sheaf will be out of the game serving the first game of a three match suspension following his red card in the Stockton game. Hednesford now have four consecutive home games after being on the road for five of their last six matches.
THE OPPOSITION
Stocksbridge Park Steels are currently in 17th place in the table with 14 points from 15 games, winning three, drawing five and losing seven, scoring 17 goals and conceding 21. Away from home they have won just once, 2-1 at Prescot Cables, drawing four times, 0-0 at Whitby Town, 1-1 at Guiseley and 2-2 at both Bamber Bridge and Hyde United with two defeats, 0-1 at Ashton and 2-3 at Stockton. Their leading scorers are James Morris with six lead goals and Oliwier Grzelak with three. Manager Ian Richards along with his backroom staff of Andy Ring and Peter Goldstraw left the club last week to take over the reins at Guiseley, leaving the club’s longest serving player Jordan Lemon, club captain Kurtis Turner and Mark Fretwell in interim charge.

PREVIOUS ENCOUNTERS
Stocksbridge Park Steels have only visited Keys Park on two previous occasions. In 2011/12 they came away with a point when Jack Muldoon equalised Danny Quinn’s opener for The Pitmen. The following season saw Hednesford promoted through the play-offs after beating Stocksbridge 4-1 in the last game of the regular season. A review of this game can be found in Saturday’s programme.
MATCHDAY DETAILS
Admission on Saturday is £13 adults, £10 concessions, 17-18, and disabled (non-wheelchair access), £5 U16 and free for U10s but all U16s must be accompanied by a paying adult. Supporters are advised to use the Fanbase app to purchase tickets although cash or card payments can be made at the ticket office before kick-off.
There will be a minutes silence and the laying of a wreath before the game as the club pay their respects ahead of Remembrance Sunday.
This week fans can bring a friend for £5. Adult and concession tickets can be bought for £5 when bought with another full price adult or concession ticket via the Fanbase app or at the ticket office. Season ticket holders can claim their Friend for a Fiver offer via the email sent to them or visit the ticket office before the game.
Additional parking is available at the Sunflex/Dunelm site for £5 – all proceeds go to Age UK. There are 70 spaces and these will be first come first served – look out for signs on arrival to the ground.
The Chase Suite will be open from midday for the televised Tottenham v Manchester United game with access to the stands/terraces available after 1pm.
