We’re always looking for ways to improve the matchday experience at Keys Park – and today we’re excited to unveil something brand new.
Introducing three self-serve bars powered by BoltBar, giving supporters faster service, more choice, and a smoother way to enjoy a drink on matchdays.
Located around the ground level of the stadium, the BoltBars officially launch on Saturday 22nd November, following a successful soft-launch with our Club 1880 members earlier this week.
A faster, better matchday experience
The new BoltBars allow supporters to pour their own drinks in seconds, easing queues at the main bars and giving you more time to enjoy the action.
Each unit offers:
- Cruzcampo (x2 lines)
- Guinness
- Neck Oil (IPA)
- Old Mout Berries & Cherries Cider
- Birra Moretti
Plus, one of the three containers swaps Neck Oil for Kronenbourg 0.0% as the alcohol-free option.
The IPA, Guinness and zero-alcohol lines are all brand-new additions to our matchday range.
And although the system is quick and intuitive to use, HTFC staff will be on hand at every unit to assist supporters on matchdays.
More than just a container
The self-serve bars are housed inside high-spec shipping containers, supplied locally by Lion Containers in Cannock.
These aren’t ordinary containers. Each BoltBar includes:
- 80mm insulation
- Air-conditioning running at 11–13°C
- Pouring temperature of 2°C for perfectly chilled pints
- Smart keg storage (one in use, two chilled and ready to switch)
- Real-time usage monitoring so staff can change kegs before they run dry
The result? Quicker service, consistently chilled drinks, and a smoother matchday operation behind the scenes.
Tested by our Members and Volunteers
Before launch, Club 1880 members and volunteers were invited to try the BoltBars on Wednesday 19th November – and their feedback was brilliant.
Paul and Elaine Aston said: “It’s easy to pour and you can feel how chilled the lager is as it comes through. It’s such a good idea to reduce queues at the main bar. The machine pours itself and stops at the size you select. Supermarkets have self-serve tills, so it’s a great step for the club.”

Val Bates added: “Using the app is really handy – you top it up, tap your phone, and pour. It’s great for budgeting because you choose exactly how much you want to spend.”
How it works
Using the BoltBars is simple:
- Scan the QR code at the unit
- Choose your drink
- Pay by card or phone
- Pour from the tap
- Enjoy your drink and get back to the match
Supporters can also download the BoltBar app for exclusive prizes and deals.
Instructions and app links will also be added to our Matchday Information page.
Launching this Saturday
The BoltBars officially go live on Saturday 22nd November, and we can’t wait for you to try them.
They’re fast, reliable and designed to make your matchday experience better than ever – another important step in delivering Best in Class, Local First facilities at Keys Park.
