THE HOME SIDE
A run of seven successive league and cup wins throughout November has seen Manager Gavin Hurren nominated as NPL Manager of the Month. The run has also catapulted The Pitmen to the top of the table with 39 points from 19 games, four points clear of second placed Lancaster City, four points ahead of Hebburn Town and Saturday’s visitors Warrington Rylands and six points in front of fifth placed FC United of Manchester who will visit Keys Park on 27th December. Ahkeem Rose’s goal at Ashton United last Saturday was his seventh in the league this season along with five in the FA Cup giving him a haul of 12 goals in all competitions. He is followed by Dom McHale who has five.
THE OPPOSITION
Warrington Rylands sit in fourth place in the NPL Premier League table with 34 points from 19 games. From their 10 away games they have won four, drawn four and lost two, winning 1-0 at Workington, 1-0 at Guiseley, 2-1 at Cleethorpes and 1-0 at FC United. The draws have come at Rushall Olympic (1-1), Stocksbridge Park Steels (0-0), Hebburn (1-1) and 2-2 at Ilkeston where the home side had two players sent off while the defeats were 0-2 at Lancaster City and 1-3 at Stockton. Leading scorers are Ben Hardcastle with ten goals, Jake Burton with six and George Waring who has four. Pitmen fans may recognise Matt Regan in the visitors’ line up who made 19 starts plus five as sub at Keys Park back in 2015/16.

PREVIOUS ENCOUNTERS
The clubs have met only once before, earlier in this season when the game ended in a 2-2 draw at The Quickline Arena. Jake Burton and Guy Hall gave the home side an early lead but goals from Jake Jervis just before half time and Nathan Blissett in the 84th minute earned Hednesford a point. The crowd was 639, Rylands’ second highest of the season.
MATCHDAY DETAILS
Admission on Saturday is £13 adults, £10 concessions, 17-18, and disabled (non-wheelchair access), £5 U16 and free for U10s but all U16s must be accompanied by a paying adult. Supporters are advised to use the Fanbase app to purchase tickets although cash or card payments can be made at the ticket office before kick-off.

- The televised Aston Villa v Arsenal game which kicks off at 12.30pm will be shown in the bars, admission included with your match ticket although there will be no admittance to the terraces/stands until 1pm.
- The Club Shop will be open from 1pm to 2.55pm.
