THE HOME SIDE
Bilston currently play their trade at step 6 in the Capelli Sport Midland League Division One and are fourth in the league table, nine points behind leaders Sutton United, having played a game more. From their 22 matches so far this season they have picked up 43 points from 13 wins, four draws and five defeats, scoring 66 goals and conceding 33. Their latest outing last Saturday saw a 6-1 win at Kirby Muxloe with goals for Ricardo Heaven (2), Sam Yankson, Jordan Crump, Ethan Bustin and Harry Dixon. They will play in orange shirts and black socks.
THE PITMEN
Hednesford went to the top of the NPL Premier League table on Saturday after Dan Trickett-Smith’s 49th minute goal earned all three points against Cleethorpes Town. Tuesday’s game will the team’s first away game since the 5-1 win at Guiseley on 1st November and they go into the game on the back of five straight victories.

Manager Gavin Hurren said, “ We want to get through at Bilston and get into the next round and it’ll be good for some of the guys to get some minutes”.
PREVIOUS ENCOUNTERS
Back in the West Midland and Southern Midland days games between the two teams were commonplace, in fact from 1975 to 1992 Hednesford and Bilston met no less than 39 times and three of those games came in the Staffordshire Senior Cup. All three have seen victories for The Pitmen, 2-0 in 1976/7 with Jones and Yates scoring, the same score in 1979/80 and goals for Branch and Handley while in 1986/7 it was 5-0 with John Winwood (2), Chris Brindley (2) and John Wainwright finding the net.
MATCHDAY DETAILS
Bilston moved to Queen Street in 1919 with floodlights being installed in 1953 and although they went out of business in 2005 and the ground was closed after vandalism, the club reformed in 2007 and returned to play at Queen Street for the 2008/9 season. Bilston are the first fan owned club in the West Midlands after obtaining charitable status, changing the trading name to Bilston Town Community Club.
