THE PITMEN
After two defeats in their first two games, Hednesford have put their first points on the board with draws at home to Southport and away at AFC Telford United.
On Saturday The Pitmen came back from a goal down to equalise through a Jai Curren-Nicholls header in the 74th minute.
However, wins for Radcliffe and Marine meant that Hednesford dropped to 23rd place in the table, a point above bottom marker Morecambe and on the same points as Telford in 22nd.
Interestingly, Morecambe host Telford on Friday night while Radcliffe travel to Marine on Saturday.
Ahead of the game, Manager Kelvin Davis has said: ”One or two things haven’t dropped for us so far this season but that’s football and we stay calm and focused, continuing to learn from every outcome.”
THE OPPOSITION
After gaining promotion to Step 2 last season as Champions of of the Southern League Central with 95 points from 42 games, Harborough have continued their momentum and currently sit in seventh place with eight points from four games.
These have come from two home wins, 1-0 against Morecambe, 4-2 against Darlington and two draws on their travels, 1-1 at both King’s Lynn and Oxford City.
Their leading scorers with two apiece are former Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough striker Britt Assombalonga and former Pitman Riley O’Sullivan who is joined in The Bees squad by another former Hednesford player, George Carline.
PREVIOUS ENCOUNTERS
Hednesford and Harborough have only met on one occasion previously. This was in the FA Trophy Third Qualifying Round last season when Harborough won 2-0 at a windy Northampton Road with goals from Ben Stephens (penalty) and Luis Rose. The crowd was 501.

Admission prices for league games this season at Keys Park are as follows:
Seating: £18 adults, £15 concessions, £8 13-17 years old, £5 under 13s.
Standing: £15 adults, £12 concessions, £5 13-17 years old, £3 under 13s.
All juniors aged 15 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Turnstiles, club shop, ticket office and the Chase Suite open at 6pm.
Smoking and vaping is only allowed in the Fanzones behind the Hednesford End and Heath Hayes End. As this is not a designated game, all Boltbars will be open.
