THE HOME SIDE
Following Tuesday’s 3-0 win over Bamber Bridge Hednesford know that a point will move them up to the top of the table as leaders Warrington Rylands are without a game. The Pitmen currently sit in second place, four points ahead of FC United of Manchester who have played two games less and visit Hyde on Saturday. Midfielder Max Sheaf will be available after serving his three match ban as Hednesford play the last of four successive home games which have seen them pick up maximum points so far.
THE OPPOSITION
Cleethorpes Town are currently in ninth place in the table with 23 points from 17 games, winning six, drawing seven and losing six, scoring 27 goals and conceding 19. Away from home they have won four games at Stocksbridge Park Steels (3-1), Ilkeston (3-0), Morpeth (2-1) and Ashton (4-0) to go with draws at Warrington Town and last Saturday at Guiseley. Their three defeats have come at Hebburn (1-2), FC United (0-2) and Rushall Olympic (1-2). Leading scorers are Josh Walker who has seven goals and Ben Andreucci with four. Adam Haw has three while four other players have two apiece. The club were knocked out of both of the major cup competitions at the first hurdle, losing 0-3 at Carlton Town in the FA Cup and suffering a penalty shoot out defeat to Redditch United in the Trophy after a goalless draw.

Manager Gavin Hurren said “On Tuesday our shape off the ball was exceptional and we played some exceptional stuff against a good Bamber Bridge team with our subs making a positive impact. We’ll look at Cleethorpes’ strengths and weaknesses but then once again, it’s about us”.

PREVIOUS ENCOUNTERS
Although this will be Cleethorpes’ first visit to Keys Park for a league game, they have played here twice before. On Saturday 11th November 2017 there was a 1-1 draw in the Second Qualifying Round of the FA Trophy (this game will be featured in more detail in Saturday’s Matchday programme) and on 4th September 2021 there was another 1-1 draw, this time in the FA Cup.
MATCHDAY DETAILS
Admission on Saturday is £13 adults, £10 concessions, 17-18, and disabled (non-wheelchair access), £5 U16 and free for U10s but all U16s must be accompanied by a paying adult. Supporters are advised to use the Fanbase app to purchase tickets although cash or card payments can be made at the ticket office before kick-off. Parking will again be available at Sunflex for £5 on a first come, first served basis with all proceeds going to Age UK. The Chase Suite will be open from midday for the televised Burnley v Chelsea Premier League game, no ticket required just a match ticket for The Pitmen game with access to the stands from 1pm. Saturday will also see the launch of the new self-serve bars powered by BoltBar.
